Journalists at ProPublica and NBC Information would like to link with people today whose parental legal rights have been terminated in the past ten years.

We have been given an outpouring of responses, and at this time we are only looking for individuals with cases in Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia.

We want to understand how your case was handled by your state’s child welfare agency and courts, and what styles of expert services you have been provided to aid reunite your spouse and children.

We know this can be hard to chat about, and we appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Filling out our small questionnaire will support us do additional reporting that issues to your community.

We consider your privacy seriously. We are gathering these tales for the uses of our reporting, and we will call you if we want to publish any component of your reaction.
